Frederic C Foster
Frederic C. Foster, Esq. has been a practicing attorney for thirty-nine (39) years, and has been a life-long resident of the Moriches Bay and Westhampton area. Mr. Foster (Rick) graduated from Brown University in 1972 and taught English in Eastport High School. After several years of teaching, Rick enrolled at New York Law School, where he graduated cum laude in 1978.
Mr. Foster worked as an Assistant County Attorney for three (3) years in the Suffolk County Attorney’s Office, handling appeals and numerous habeas corpus proceedings brought against the County of Suffolk. From 1982 to 1984, Rick worked with the well-known firm of Arnold B. Firestone, exclusively in the area of matrimonial and family court trials and appeals.
The law office of Frederic C. Foster began in 1984 at 4 Montauk Highway, Westhampton, New York, where it continues to the present time. In 2008, a new 5,000 square foot, state of the art office space was constructed.
Rick Foster served as President of the Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association for three (3) years. Mr. Foster continues to represent clients in all phases of matrimonial and family court cases, including custody matters, complex issues of evaluation of business interests and professional practices, spousal maintenance, child support, relocation cases, recovery of inheritances or other separate property comingled with joint assets, and appeals.
Mr. Foster has also represented many unmarried individuals pursuing claims against former domestic partners seeking a share of assets obtained during the duration of the partnership. Under the legal theory of a constructive trust, Rick has obtained millions of dollars for clients, without a written agreement supporting the claim.
Highly respected by both judges and attorneys as one of the top practioners in Suffolk County, Frederic C. Foster continues to maintain the high levels of caring and commitment to clients and the law.
Alexandria M. Parker
Alexandria M. Parker, Esq. is a graduate of Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. While at C.W. Post, Ms. Parker was a Co-Editor-in-Chief of the school’s weekly newspaper, The Pioneer, as well as News Director of the school’s radio station, WCWP.
Ms. Parker received her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2017 and was admitted to the bar in January of 2018. During her time at Brooklyn Law School, Ms. Parker focused exclusively on matrimonial and family law studies and was Treasurer of the Family Law Organization. Ms. Parker completed a clinic with the Children’s Law Center, as well as internships in the Kings County Family Court, and the Suffolk County Supreme Court.
